  • 1Why do you boast in mischief, O mighty man? The goodness of God endures continually.

  • 7How shall I pardon you for this? Your children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.

  • 5They said, 'Turn now every one from his evil way and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD has given to you and to your fathers forever and ever:

  • 3Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, against this family I devise an evil from which you shall not remove your necks; neither shall you go haughtily, for this time is evil.

  • 13Your words have been harsh against me, says the LORD. Yet you say, 'What have we spoken against you?'.
