19Have You utterly rejected Judah? Has Your soul loathed Zion? Why have You struck us down, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, but behold, trouble!
13Then I said, 'Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, the prophets say to them, 'You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.''
14Then the LORD said to me, 'The prophets prophesy lies in My name; I have not sent them, nor commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision and divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart.'
8The way of peace they do not know; and there is no justice in their paths: they have made crooked paths for themselves; whoever walks therein shall not know peace.

18And my people shall dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
6They have seen falsehood and lying divination, saying, 'The LORD says'; but the LORD has not sent them. And they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

4Therefore I said, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, do not labor to comfort me, because of the destruction of the daughter of my people.
13Woe to them! for they have fled from me: destruction to them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
3And they bend their tongues like a bow for lies; but they are not valiant for the truth on the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know me, says the LORD.
8They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their hearts on their iniquity.
