21 And she said, According to your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.
22 And they went, and came unto the mountain, and stayed there three days, until the pursuers returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not.
23 So the two men returned, and descended from the mountain, and passed over, and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and told him all things that befell them:

30 And the LORD delivered it and its king into the hand of Israel; he struck it with the edge of the sword, and all the people who were in it; he left none remaining in it, but did to its king as he had done to the king of Jericho.
16 So Joshua rose up early in the morning, and brought Israel by their tribes; and the tribe of Judah was taken:
24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told to your servants how the LORD your God commanded His servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were very afraid for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.
6 And when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel went every man to his inheritance to possess the land.
11 So the ark of the LORD went around the city, circling it once: and they came into the camp, and stayed in the camp.
