And the bramble said to the trees, If you truly anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow; and if not, let fire come out of the bramble and devour the cedars of Lebanon.

9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore that does not produce good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
