9 And it came to pass through the frivolity of her whoredom, that she polluted the land and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
10 And yet for all this, her treacherous sister Judah has not turned to me with her whole heart, but in pretension, says the LORD.
11 And the LORD said to me, Backsliding Israel has justified herself more than treacherous Judah.
6 And she has changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries around her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
23 But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.

28 But you shall say to them, This is a nation that does not obey the voice of the LORD their God, nor receive correction: truth has perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

15 This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none besides me: how has she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! Everyone that passes by her shall hiss, and shake his hand.
3 Therefore, the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain; and you had a harlot's forehead, you refused to be ashamed.
