  • 15But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness.

  • 15But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and did not listen to them, just as the LORD had predicted.

  • 21The LORD said to Moses,“When you go back to Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the wonders I have put under your control. But I will harden his heart and he will not let the people go.

  • 12I will have compassion on you so that he in turn will have mercy on you and allow you to return to your land.’

  • 5But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is he?(I am speaking in human terms.)

  • 45He remembered his covenant with them, and relented because of his great loyal love.

  • 9and said,“If now I have found favor in your sight, O Lord, let my Lord go among us, for we are a stiff-necked people; pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.”

  • 27But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he was not willing to release them.
