• Mark 8:22-26 : 22 And he came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to him, and begged him to touch him. 23 And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw anything. 24 And he looked up, and said, I see men like trees, walking. 25 After that he put his hands again on his eyes, and made him look up; and he was restored, and saw everyone clearly. 26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to anyone in the town.
• Luke 9:10-17 : 10 And the apostles, when they returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida. 11 And the people, when they knew it, followed him; and he received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing. 12 And when the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country around and lodge, and get provisions; for we are here in a desert place. 13 But he said to them, You give them something to eat. And they said, We have no more than five loaves and two fish; unless we go and buy food for all these people. 14 For there were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down in groups of fifty. 15 And they did so, and made them all sit down. 16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. 17 And they ate, and were all filled, and twelve baskets of leftover fragments were taken up by them.
• John 3:5-6 : 5 Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
• Acts 28:25-28 : 25 And when they did not agree among themselves, they departed after Paul had said one word, The Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers, 26 saying, Go to this people and say, Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; and seeing you will see, and not perceive. 27 For the heart of this people has grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn, so that I should heal them. 28 Therefore let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear it.
• Rom 9:29-33 : 29 And as Isaiah said before, Unless the Lord of Hosts had left us a seed, we would have become like Sodom, and we would have been made like Gomorrah. 30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness of faith. 31 But Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness. 32 Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumbling stone; 33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense; and whoever believes on Him shall not be put to shame.
• Dan 9:3 : 3 And I set my face toward the Lord God, to seek by prayer and petitions, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes:
• Isa 61:3 : 3 To appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.
• Ezek 3:6-7 : 6 Not to many people of a strange language and hard speech, whose words you cannot understand. Surely, if I had sent you to them, they would have listened to you. 7 But the house of Israel will not listen to you; for they will not listen to me: for all the house of Israel are obstinate and hardhearted.
