ዳዊት ካብ ግርማ ምሸት እስከ ማታ ዝቕጽል ዕለት ድሕሪ እዚያ መታኣቱም፤ ካልእ ኣርባዕተ መቶ ወጣእ ወዲ ብግመላት ተርኪቦም ዘሎም እንተ ሆነ ስለ ወራሩ ኣንድ ሰብ እንኳን ኣይመረፀን።

    20ዳዊት ኩሉ እንስሳት መንጎውን ከብቲን ወሰደ፤ እዚ ድማ ካብ ካልእ እንስሳት በፊት ይነዱ ነበሩ እንተ ሆነ ይብሉ፣ “ዕድል ዳዊት እዩ” ኢሎም።

    21ዳዊት ናብ እቲ ሁለት መቶ ሰባት እዚ ስለ ድካም ክትስለብ ዘይክእሉ ዝተዉኦም ኣብ ወኻር በሶር ዝቆሙ ተመለሰ። እነሱ ዳዊትን ሕዝቡን ለማግኘት ወጹ፤ ዳዊት ንሳቶም ቀረበ ሰላም ኣላታም።

    22እዚ ድማ ካብ ዳዊት ዘሎም ክፉ ሰባትን ወዲ ቤልያል ኣመለሱ፣ “እነዚ ኣብ እዚ ጉዕዞ ኣይመጹን ከምኡ ካብ ምርካብ ዝተመለሰ ምንም ኣይንሕብዎምን፤ እዋ ንእያ ሰብ ሚስቱን ወልዶቱን ብቻ ይወስድ ድሕሪ ይሂድ” ኢሎም።

    23ዳዊት ግን ኣመለሰ፣ “ወንድማተይ፣ ከምዚ ኣይትግበሩን፤ እግዚኣብሔር ዝሃበና ነገር እዩ ዘለና፤ ንሕና ኣኽልና ኣድጎና፣ እቲ ብሓላፍና ዝመጸ ጭፍራ ንእጃና ሰጠና” ኢሉ።

    3ዳዊትን ሰባኡን ናብ ከተማ እንተ መጹ እነርኣ ብእሳት ተቐጽጓ ነበረት፤ ሚስታቶምን ወዲኣቶምን ጓልኣቶምን ኣስር ወስዶም ነበሩ።

    4ከምኡ ዳዊትን ዘሎም ሕዝብ ድምጺኦም ኣንስእዎ ወደዱ፣ እስከ ምልሳሕ ኃይል ዘይተረኺበሎም ድሕሪ ድልዩ ወደዱ።
