Joab son of Zeruiah and David's servants also went out and met them by the pool of Gibeon. They sat down, one group on one side of the pool and the other group on the opposite side.

He was buried at his house in the wilderness. 35 The king appointed Benaiah son of Jehoiada over the army in Joab’s place, and Zadok the priest in place of Abiathar.
