  • 1 Cor 2:6-9 : 6 Now, we do speak wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are passing away. 7 Instead, we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom that God predestined before the ages for our glory. 8 This wisdom none of the rulers of this age understood, for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written: What no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and what has not entered the human heart—God has prepared these things for those who love Him. 10 Now God has revealed these things to us by His Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 11 For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person that is within him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now, we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God. 13 We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit—explaining spiritual truths to spiritual people. 14 But the natural person does not accept the things of God's Spirit, because they are foolishness to him. He cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 15 The spiritual person examines all things, but he himself is not subject to being examined by anyone.
