    30Therefore, the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: I certainly said that your house and your father’s house would walk before Me forever. But now the LORD declares: Far be it from Me! For those who honor Me I will honor, but those who despise Me will be disdained.

    31The days are coming when I will cut off your strength and the strength of your father’s house, so that there will not be an old man in your house.

    32You will see distress in My dwelling, despite all the good I do for Israel. Never will there be an old man in your family line.

    33Any man of yours that I do not cut off from My altar will only remain to weep his eyes out and to grieve his heart, and all your descendants will die in the prime of life.
