8I tore the kingdom away from the house of David and gave it to you. But you have not been like My servant David, who kept My commandments and followed Me with all his heart, doing only what was right in My eyes.
13There, Jehu met the relatives of Ahaziah, king of Judah, and asked, "Who are you?" They answered, "We are the relatives of Ahaziah, and we have come to greet the sons of the king and the queen mother."
4Then the LORD said to him, "Call him Jezreel, because in a little while I will punish the house of Jehu for the bloodshed at Jezreel, and I will bring an end to the kingdom of Israel."
17So Ahaziah died, just as the word of the LORD that Elijah had spoken had declared. Since he had no son, Jehoram succeeded him as king in the second year of Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah.

29'Have you noticed how Ahab has humbled himself before Me? Because he has humbled himself, I will not bring disaster during his lifetime; but in the days of his son, I will bring disaster on his house.'
9I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha son of Ahijah.
14The LORD will raise up a king over Israel who will cut off the house of Jeroboam. This is the day! What indeed is even now happening!
