27When Ahaziah king of Judah saw this, he fled along the road to Beth-haggan. Jehu pursued him, shouting, 'Shoot him too!' They struck him in his chariot on the way up to Gur near Ibleam, but he fled to Megiddo and died there.
13Meanwhile, a prophet approached Ahab, king of Israel, and said, 'This is what the LORD says: Do you see this vast army? I will give it into your hand today, and you will know that I am the LORD.'
17When Jehu arrived in Samaria, he struck down all who remained of Ahab’s household in Samaria until he had destroyed them, according to the word of the LORD spoken through Elijah.

40But while your servant was busy here and there, the man disappeared.' The king of Israel said to him, 'That is your sentence; you have pronounced it yourself.'
7Now the whole family has risen against your servant. They say, 'Hand over the one who killed his brother so that we may put him to death for taking his brother’s life. We want to destroy the heir as well.' They will extinguish my remaining ember, leaving neither name nor remnant for my husband on the earth.
11Now you tell me, 'Go and say to your master, Elijah is here!'
