7 For I have great joy and encouragement from your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, my brother.
8 For this reason, although I have great boldness in Christ to command you to do what is right,

10 But you have closely followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, and endurance.

5 And they exceeded our expectations: they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God's will.
8 Therefore, I urge you to reaffirm your love for him.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
10 But the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered for a little while, will Himself restore, establish, strengthen, and uphold you.
