  • 2 Thess 2:3-9 : 3 Let no one deceive you in any way. That day will not come unless the rebellion takes place first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the son of destruction. 4 He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what restrains him, so that he will be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only the one now restraining it will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will destroy with the breath of His mouth and abolish by the splendor of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the workings of Satan, with all kinds of power, false signs, and wonders, 10 and with every kind of deceit targeting those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason, God sends them a powerful delusion, so that they will believe the lie, 12 in order that all who did not believe the truth but delighted in wickedness might be judged.

It will devour the whole earth, trample it, and crush it.' 24 The ten horns represent ten kings who will rise from this kingdom. Another king, different from the previous ones, will rise after them and will subdue three kings. 25 He will speak words against the Most High, oppress the holy ones of the Most High, and plan to change times and laws. The holy ones will be handed over to him for a time, times, and half a time.
  • Dan 8:8-9 : 8 The male goat became very great, but at the height of its power, its large horn was broken off, and in its place, four prominent horns grew toward the four winds of heaven. 9 Out of one of them came a little horn, which grew exceedingly great toward the south, the east, and the Beautiful Land. 10 It grew until it reached the host of heaven, and it cast some of the stars and the host down to the earth and trampled on them. 11 It even set itself up to be as great as the commander of the army of the LORD; it took away the daily sacrifice from him, and the place of his sanctuary was thrown down. 12 Because of rebellion, the army was given over to the horn along with the daily sacrifice. It cast truth to the ground and succeeded in whatever it did. 13 Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one speaking, 'How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled—the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, and the surrender of the sanctuary and the host to be trampled underfoot?' 14 He said to me, 'It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated.'
  • Dan 10:14 : 14 Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision concerns the days yet to come.
  • Dan 11:36-12:1 : 36 The king will do as he pleases; he will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will speak astonishing words against the God of gods. He will prosper until the indignation is completed, for what has been decreed will be accomplished. 37 He will show no regard for the gods of his ancestors, the desire of women, or any other god, for he will magnify himself above them all. 38 Instead, he will honor the god of fortresses in his place; a god unknown to his ancestors. He will honor it with gold, silver, precious stones, and costly gifts. 39 He will deal with strongholds using a foreign god. He will honor those who acknowledge him, giving them authority over many people and distributing land for a price. 40 At the time of the end, the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm against him with chariots, horsemen, and many ships. He will invade countries, sweeping through them like a flood. 41 He will also enter the Glorious Land, and many will fall, but Edom, Moab, and the leaders of Ammon will escape from his hand. 42 He will extend his power over many lands, and the land of Egypt will not escape. 43 He will gain control over the hidden treasures of gold and silver and all the precious things of Egypt. The Libyans and Cushites will follow in his steps. 44 But reports from the east and the north will trouble him, and he will set out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. 45 He will pitch his royal tents between the seas at the beautiful holy mountain. Yet, he will come to his end, and no one will help him. 1 At that time, Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of trouble such as has never occurred since nations first existed until that time. But at that time, your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.
  • Dan 12:7 : 7 The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, raised both his right hand and his left hand toward heaven. • Rev 8:1-9 : 1 When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and they were given seven trumpets. 3 Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all God's people on the golden altar before the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God's people, went up before God from the angel's hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it upon the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake. 6 The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them. 7 The first angel blew his trumpet, and hail and fire, mixed with blood, were thrown down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. 8 The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea became blood. 9 A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. 10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky onto a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the water because it was made bitter. 12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them went dark. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise, the night. 13 Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in mid-heaven, calling out in a loud voice, 'Woe! Woe! Woe to those who live on the earth because of the blasts of the trumpets about to be sounded by the three remaining angels!'
