6Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.
8But to those who are self-seeking, who disobey the truth and obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and anger.
14Their mouths are full of curses and bitterness.
15Their feet are swift to shed blood.
21For although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or give thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22Claiming to be wise, they became fools.
23And they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man, birds, animals, and creeping things.
24Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.
25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is forever praised. Amen.

9These are a rebellious people, deceitful children, unwilling to listen to the LORD's instruction.
8In the same way, these people also, relying on their dreams, defile their flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme glorious beings.
5They have acted corruptly toward Him; they are not His children because of their defect—a crooked and perverse generation.
28All of them are stubborn rebels, going about with slander. They are bronze and iron; all of them act corruptly.
17haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,
18a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil,
4For certain people have secretly slipped in among you—those who were written about long ago as being destined for this condemnation. They are ungodly, turning the grace of our God into a license for immorality and denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
4Whom are you mocking? Against whom do you open wide your mouth and stick out your tongue? Are you not children of rebellion, offspring of deceit?
16But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
8They scoff and speak with malice; with arrogance, they threaten oppression.
12All have turned away, together they have become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.
10By this the children of God and the children of the devil are distinguished: Anyone who does not practice righteousness and does not love their brother or sister is not of God.
14He plots evil with deceit in his heart; he constantly stirs up dissension.
8The one who plots evil will be called a schemer.
