4Their deeds do not allow them to return to their God, for a spirit of prostitution is within them, and they do not know the Lord.
3Lord, are Your eyes not on truth? You struck them, but they felt no pain; You consumed them, but they refused to accept discipline. They hardened their faces more than a rock and refused to repent.
23But this people has a stubborn and rebellious heart; they have turned aside and gone away.
9They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah. He will remember their iniquity; He will punish their sins.
14They have eyes full of adultery, never ceasing from sin. They entice unstable souls and have hearts trained in greed. They are accursed children.
7Do not be like your ancestors and your brothers, who were unfaithful to the LORD, the God of their ancestors, so that He made them an object of horror, as you can see.

17Yet your people say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' But it is their way that is not just.
28For they are a nation void of counsel, and there is no understanding in them.
30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;
5This is what the LORD says: ‘What fault did your ancestors find in me that they strayed so far from me? They pursued worthless idols and became worthless themselves.
24‘No, my sons; the report I hear spreading among the LORD’s people is not good.’
12All have turned away, together they have become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.
34They set up detestable idols in the house that bears My name and defiled it.
20Those with twisted hearts are detestable to the Lord, but His delight is in those whose ways are blameless.
30I will establish his offspring forever and his throne as the days of the heavens.
