14They will tell the inhabitants of this land about it. They have already heard that you, LORD, are among these people, that you, LORD, have been seen face to face, that your cloud stays over them, and that you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.

20Moses said to them, "If you will do this—if you arm yourselves for battle before the Lord,
21and all your armed men cross over the Jordan before the Lord until He has driven out His enemies from His presence—
8Moses said to them, "Wait here, and I will listen for what the LORD will command concerning you."
12For you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the LORD goes before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
1Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD, saying: 'I will sing to the LORD, for He is highly exalted; the horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea.'
10As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians marching after them! They were terrified and cried out to the LORD.

14The LORD replied, 'My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.'
25Then Joshua said to them, 'Do not be afraid or discouraged. Be strong and courageous, for this is what the LORD will do to all the enemies you fight against.'

14Your wives, your children, and your livestock may remain in the land that Moses gave you on the east side of the Jordan. But you, all your strong warriors, fully armed, must cross ahead of your brothers and help them.
18The LORD will reign forever and ever.
12LORD, You establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished, You have done for us.
5The LORD will deliver them to you, and you must act toward them according to the entire commandment I have instructed you.
