12 Then Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, brought a burnt offering and other sacrifices to God. Aaron and all the elders of Israel came to eat bread with Moses’ father-in-law in the presence of God.

23 If you do this and God so commands, you will be able to endure, and all these people will go home satisfied and at peace.

27 Then Moses sent his father-in-law on his way, and Jethro returned to his own land.

18 Then Moses went back to Jethro, his father-in-law, and said to him, 'Please let me return to my relatives in Egypt to see if they are still alive.' And Jethro said to Moses, 'Go in peace.'
41 But Moses said, 'Why are you disobeying the LORD's command? This will not succeed.
1 Now Moses was shepherding the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
