    11Her sister Oholibah saw this, yet she was even more corrupt in her lust, and her adulteries exceeded those of her sister.

    12She too lusted after the Assyrians—governors and officials nearby—elegantly clothed, skilled horsemen, and all young and desirable men.

    13I saw that she too was defiled; both had followed the same corrupt path.

    14But she went even further with her adulteries. She saw men carved on the walls, images of the Chaldeans portrayed in vermilion.

    2Lift up your eyes to the barren heights and see. Where have you not been violated? By the roads you sat waiting for lovers, like a nomad in the desert. You have defiled the land with your prostitution and wickedness.
