20Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,
23For when he sees his children, the work of My hands, in his midst, they will sanctify My name. They will set apart the Holy One of Jacob and stand in awe of the God of Israel.
6But Christ is faithful as the Son over God's house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we boast.
19I myself said, “How gladly would I treat you like my children and give you a desirable land, the most beautiful inheritance of any nation.” I thought you would call me 'Father' and not turn away from following me.
2Behold, God is my salvation! I will trust and not be afraid, for the LORD, the LORD Himself, is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation.
8But about the Son He says, 'Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness will be the scepter of Your kingdom.'
15Though He slay me, yet I will hope in Him. Nevertheless, I will defend my ways before Him.
28And now, dear children, remain in Him, so that when He appears we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
19My dear children, I am again suffering birth pains for you until Christ is formed in you.
11In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise,
13To which of the angels did God ever say, 'Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet'?
3Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward.
15The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First, He says:
26I will set his hand over the sea, and his right hand over the rivers.
27He will call to me, 'You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.'
18even though it was said to him, 'Through Isaac your descendants will be named.'
2But in these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He also created the universe.
9then He said, 'Behold, I have come to do Your will.' He takes away the first to establish the second.
8All who see me mock me; they sneer and shake their heads:
9'Commit yourself to the LORD; let Him deliver him! Let Him rescue him, since He delights in him.'
9Therefore I will still bring charges against you, declares the LORD, and against your children’s children I will bring charges.
2Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth, for the LORD has spoken: "I have raised children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against Me.
23Let us hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
28Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.
