5In the same way, Christ did not glorify Himself to become high priest, but was appointed by the One who said to Him, 'You are My Son; today I have begotten You.'

7During His earthly life, He offered prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission.
2I will bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted your word above all your name.

21equip you with every good thing to do His will, working in us what is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
