29How much more severe punishment do you think someone deserves who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, treated as unholy the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
30For we know Him who said, 'Vengeance is Mine; I will repay,' says the Lord. And again, 'The Lord will judge His people.'

5Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You prepared a body for Me.
22sealed us, and placed the pledge of the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

6As He also says in another place, 'You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.'
17Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of His purpose very clear to the heirs of the promise, He guaranteed it with an oath.
20Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,
