17This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet:
20Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
21So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me.
22For in my inner being I delight in God’s law;
16And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.
17As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.
7I will proclaim the decree of the Lord: He said to me, 'You are My Son; today I have become Your Father.'
37For I tell you, this Scripture must be fulfilled in me: ‘He was counted among the lawless.’ Indeed, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment."
17The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. Unrolling it, He found the place where it was written:
12saying, 'I will declare Your name to My brothers; in the midst of the assembly I will sing Your praise.'
10This is the covenant I will establish with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
2As it is written in the prophets: 'See, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.'
10and then come and stand before me in this house, which bears my name, and say, ‘We are safe,’ only to go on doing all these detestable things?
9Because I have sinned against Him, I will bear the indignation of the LORD until He pleads my case and executes justice for me. He will bring me into the light, and I will see His righteousness.
15I will offer You burnt offerings of fat animals, with the smoke of rams; I will sacrifice bulls with goats. Selah.
16Come and listen, all who fear God, and I will tell you what He has done for me.
27'This is the one about whom it is written: "Look, I am sending My messenger ahead of You, who will prepare Your way before You."'
1The word of the LORD came to me, saying:
10This is the one about whom it is written: 'Behold, I send My messenger ahead of You, who will prepare Your way before You.'
17The Father loves me because I lay down my life so that I may take it up again.
12When you come to appear before Me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of My courts?
15'So I came out to meet you, to diligently seek your face, and I have found you.'
6With what shall I come before the Lord and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with yearling calves?
13I will come into Your house with burnt offerings; I will fulfill my vows to You.
17For it is testified: 'You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.'
3For even Christ did not please Himself; as it is written: 'The insults of those who insult You have fallen on Me.'
14I will be his father, and he shall be my son. When he sins, I will discipline him with the rod of men and with the stripes of the sons of men.
7Jesus said to him, 'I will come and heal him.'
20And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath,
25For he has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, nor has he hidden his face from him; when he cried to him for help, he heard.
4This took place so that what had been spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled:
5For to which of the angels did God ever say, 'You are My Son; today I have become Your Father'? Or again, 'I will be His Father, and He will be My Son'?
17'If anyone wants to do His will, they will know whether My teaching comes from God or whether I speak on My own authority.'
30I can do nothing on My own. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is just because I do not seek My own will but the will of Him who sent Me.
