    8Then I said, 'Here I am; I have come. In the scroll of the book it is written about me.'

  • 12I said, 'Now the Philistines will come down against me at Gilgal, and I have not sought the Lord’s favor.' So I forced myself and offered the burnt offering."

  • 24And just as your life was valuable in my sight today, may my life be valued in the sight of the LORD, and may He deliver me from all distress.

  • 13'If I had acted treacherously against my own life, nothing is hidden from the king, and you yourself would have kept your distance from me.'

  • 9That God would be willing to crush me, to let loose His hand and cut me off!
