12Raise a banner against the walls of Babylon! Strengthen the guard, post the watchmen, prepare ambushes, for the Lord has planned and carried out what He purposed against the inhabitants of Babylon.
25For I am the LORD. I will speak, and whatever word I speak will come to pass. It will no longer be delayed, for in your days, O rebellious house, I will say the word and fulfill it, declares the Lord GOD.
26He lifts a banner for the nations far away and whistles for them from the ends of the earth. Look! They come swiftly and speedily.
17Cry out and wail, son of man, for it is against My people; it is against all the princes of Israel. They are delivered to the sword with My people. Therefore, strike your thigh in despair.
