9Her gates have sunk into the ground; he has destroyed and broken her bars. Her king and princes are among the nations, and there is no law. Even her prophets receive no vision from the LORD.
11The LORD has exhausted His wrath and poured out His fierce anger; He kindled a fire in Zion, consuming its foundations.
12Neither the kings of the earth nor the inhabitants of the world believed that the adversary and the enemy could enter the gates of Jerusalem.
25Have you not heard? Long ago I ordained it; in days of old I planned it. Now I have brought it to pass, that you have turned fortified cities into piles of rubble.

3And now the LORD has brought it about and done as He said. Because you sinned against the LORD and did not obey His voice, this has happened to you.
15Raise a shout against her on every side! She has surrendered; her towers have fallen, her walls are torn down. This is the vengeance of the LORD. Take vengeance on her; do to her as she has done to others.

11Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: "An enemy will surround the land, bring down your strength, and plunder your fortresses."
2For you have turned the city into a heap of ruins, the fortified city into rubble; the palace of foreigners will never be rebuilt.
10Then my enemy will see, and shame will cover her who said to me, 'Where is the LORD your God?' My eyes will look upon her; now she will be trampled down like mud in the streets.
2O God, do not remain silent; do not be still or quiet, O Mighty One.
9'He will direct the blows of his battering rams against your walls, and he will demolish your towers with his weapons.'
24Therefore, this is the declaration of the Lord, the LORD of Hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: "I will gain relief from My adversaries and avenge Myself on My enemies.
21This is the word that the Lord has spoken against him: 'The Virgin Daughter Zion despises you and mocks you; the Daughter Jerusalem tosses her head at you as you flee.'
12He has carried out His words that He spoke against us and our rulers who governed us, bringing on us a great disaster. Nothing like it has ever been done under the entire heaven as what has been done in Jerusalem.
17Behold, the LORD is about to hurl you away violently, O strong man! He will wrap you up tightly.
