  • 24 Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God and broke them into pieces. He shut the doors of the house of the LORD and made altars for himself in every corner of Jerusalem.

  • 7 This will be the sign to you from the LORD that He will do what He has promised.

  • 26 However, Hezekiah humbled himself, along with the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so the LORD's wrath did not come upon them during Hezekiah's days.

  • 16 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of the LORD:

  • 5 Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, 'Please, first seek an answer from the LORD today.'

  • 18 As for the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, you shall say to him: ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Regarding the words you have heard,
