21 So King Zedekiah commanded that Jeremiah be placed in the courtyard of the guard and given a loaf of bread daily from the bakers' street until all the bread in the city was gone. So Jeremiah remained in the courtyard of the guard.
24 Upon receiving this order, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.
