27 After the king burned the scroll containing the words Baruch had written at Jeremiah’s dictation, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
1 Shephatiah son of Mattan, Gedaliah son of Pashhur, Jucal son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur son of Malchiah heard the words Jeremiah was speaking to all the people:
4 So Jeremiah called Baruch son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote on the scroll from Jeremiah’s dictation all the words that the LORD had spoken to him.
3 Rather, Baruch son of Neriah is inciting you against us to hand us over to the Chaldeans, to be killed or deported to Babylon.
16 As Joab kept watch over the city, he positioned Uriah at a place where he knew the strongest defenders were.
17 When the men of the city came out and fought against Joab, some of David’s men fell in battle, and Uriah the Hittite also died.
