Jeremiah the prophet said to them, "I have heard you. I will indeed pray to the LORD your God according to your words, and every word the LORD answers you, I will tell you—I will not withhold a single word from you."

19Because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard what I spoke against this place and its inhabitants—that they would become a desolation and a curse—and because you tore your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you, declares the LORD.
26But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, this is what you shall say to him: 'This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says concerning the words you heard:
27Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before God when you heard His words against this place and its inhabitants, and because you tore your clothes and wept in My presence, I have heard you,' declares the LORD.
25If the officials hear that I talked with you and come to you, saying, ‘Tell us what you said to the king and what the king said to you; do not hide it from us, or we will put you to death,’
26then tell them, ‘I was pleading with the king not to send me back to Jonathan’s house to die there.’"
27All the officials did come to Jeremiah and questioned him, and he told them everything the king had ordered him to say. So they said no more to him, for no one had heard the conversation.
16The word you have spoken to us in the name of the LORD, we will not listen to you.
17Instead, we will do everything we promised: we will burn incense to the Queen of Heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, just as we, our ancestors, our kings, and our officials did in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem. At that time, we had plenty of food, prospered, and experienced no disaster.
12But Jeremiah said to all the officials and all the people, 'The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and this city all the words you have heard.'
13'Now, therefore, amend your ways and your deeds, and obey the voice of the LORD your God. Then the LORD will relent concerning the disaster that He has pronounced against you.'
28The LORD heard your words when you spoke to me, and He said to me, 'I have heard the words of this people, which they have spoken to you. They have done well in all that they have spoken.
14Then King Zedekiah sent for Jeremiah the prophet and had him brought to the third entrance to the temple of the LORD. "I am going to ask you something," the king said to Jeremiah. "Do not hide anything from me."
15Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, "If I give you an answer, will you not put me to death? And even if I did give you advice, you would not listen to me."
3King Zedekiah sent Jehucal son of Shelemiah and the priest Zephaniah son of Maaseiah to the prophet Jeremiah with this message: "Please pray to the LORD our God for us."
17Therefore, this is what the LORD, the God of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: 'Behold, I am bringing upon Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the disaster I have spoken against them because I spoke to them, but they did not listen; I called to them, but they did not answer.'
18But to the house of the Rechabites, Jeremiah said: 'This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: “Because you have obeyed the command of Jonadab, your ancestor, and have kept all his instructions and done all that he commanded you,”'
12Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying:
3Perhaps the house of Judah will hear about all the disaster I intend to bring upon them, so that each one may turn from his wicked way. Then I will forgive their iniquity and their sin.
4So Jeremiah called Baruch son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote on the scroll from Jeremiah’s dictation all the words that the LORD had spoken to him.
37This is what you are to say to the prophet: 'What has the LORD answered you?' and 'What has the LORD spoken?'
6The LORD said to me, ‘Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: Listen to the words of this covenant and do them.’
