5But stretch out your hand and strike his bone and flesh, and he will surely curse you to your face!

7So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head.
8Then Job took a piece of broken pottery to scrape himself as he sat among the ashes.
13One day, while Job's sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine at the home of their oldest brother,
2And the LORD said to Satan, 'The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is this man not like a burning stick snatched from the fire?'
12If He snatches away, who can stop Him? Who can say to Him, 'What are You doing?
6And he said to Him, 'I will give You all this authority and their glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whom I will.'
7'Therefore if You will worship before me, it will all be Yours.'
1Then Job answered the LORD and said:
31Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to sift you all like wheat.
6Appoint a wicked person over him, and let an accuser stand at his right hand.
9Is not the whole land before you? Please separate from me. If you go to the left, I will go to the right; if you go to the right, I will go to the left."
16While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, 'The fire of God fell from the heavens and burned up the sheep and the servants, and I am the only one who escaped to tell you.'
9And he said to Him, 'All these I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.'
10Then Jesus said to him, 'Go away, Satan! For it is written: You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.'
21He said, 'Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be blessed.'
22In all of this, Job did not sin or charge God with wrongdoing.
7'If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.'
7After the LORD had spoken these words to Job, He said to Eliphaz the Temanite, 'My anger burns against you and your two friends, because you have not spoken the truth about Me as My servant Job has.'
8So now, take seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly, because you have not spoken the truth about Me as My servant Job has.
