9 and said to them, "I know that the LORD has given you this land and that fear of you has fallen on us, so that all who live in this country are melting in fear because of you.
22 But to the two men who had spied out the land, Joshua said, 'Go to the house of the prostitute and bring her out, along with everyone who belongs to her, just as you swore to her.'
23 So the young men who had scouted the land went in and brought out Rahab, along with her father, mother, brothers, and all who belonged to her. They brought out her entire family and placed them outside the camp of Israel.
24 The spies saw a man coming out of the city and said to him, "Please show us how to enter the city, and we will treat you kindly."
25 He showed them the way into the city, and they struck the city with the sword but let the man and his family go free.
14 So she lay at his feet until morning but got up before anyone could recognize another. For he said, 'Let it not be known that a woman came to the threshing floor.'
15 And he said, 'Bring me the cloak that you are wearing and hold it out.' So she held it out, and he measured out six measures of barley and placed it on her. Then he went into the town.
20 He said to her, "Stand at the entrance to the tent. If anyone comes and asks you, 'Is there a man here?' say, 'No.'"
12 So Michal let David down through the window, and he fled and escaped.
