24'Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.
25Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Lord, open the door for us.’ But he will answer, 'I don’t know you or where you come from.'
11Say to the owner of the house, 'The Teacher asks, Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?"
7Which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he comes in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’?
8Instead, won't he say to him, ‘Prepare my dinner, make yourself ready and serve me while I eat and drink; after that, you may eat and drink’?
37Blessed are those servants whom the master finds watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, have them recline at the table, and will come to wait on them.
