    30 Truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "today—yes, tonight—before the rooster crows twice, you yourself will deny me three times."

    31 But Peter insisted strongly, "Even if I have to die with you, I will not deny you!" And all the others said the same.

    40 When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy. They did not know what to say to him.

    41 Returning the third time, he said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.

    42 Rise! Let us go! Here comes my betrayer!"

    36 Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and He said to His disciples, "Sit here while I go over there and pray."

    37 Taking Peter and the two sons of Zebedee with Him, He began to be sorrowful and troubled.

    38 Then He said to them, "My soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with Me."

    39 Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will."

    41 He withdrew about a stone’s throw away from them, knelt down, and began to pray.
