18Then they journeyed through the wilderness, went around the land of Edom and the land of Moab, and came to the east side of the land of Moab. They camped on the other side of the Arnon but did not enter the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.

30But we overthrew them; Heshbon as far as Dibon is destroyed. We devastated Nophah, which reaches to Medeba.
13Then Balak said to him, 'Please come with me to another place where you can see them. You will see only a part of them, not all of them. From there, curse them for me.'
14So he took him to the field of Zophim on the top of Pisgah. There he built seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.
3So Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke to them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan River near Jericho, saying,
12Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go up this mountain of the Abarim range and see the land that I have given to the Israelites."
9therefore, I will expose the flank of Moab, beginning with its frontier cities—the pride of the land—Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim.

21When all the Moabites heard that the kings had come to fight against them, they called together everyone old enough to wear armor and stationed themselves at the border.
