40For on my holy mountain, the high mountain of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD, there the entire house of Israel, all of them in the land, will worship me. There I will accept them, and there I will require their contributions, their choice gifts, and all their holy offerings.
18I said to their children in the wilderness, 'Do not follow the statutes of your fathers, do not observe their ordinances, and do not defile yourselves with their idols.
13For your gods, Judah, are as numerous as your cities; and the altars you have set up to the shameful thing, altars to burn incense to Baal, are as many as the streets of Jerusalem.
16'This is what the entire assembly of the LORD says: What is this unfaithful act you have committed against the God of Israel by turning away from following the LORD today and building for yourselves an altar, rebelling against the LORD now?

13And He said to me, 'You will see even greater abominations that they are committing.'

4Will you judge them, will you judge them, son of man? Let them know about the detestable practices of their ancestors.
23If we have built an altar to turn away from following the LORD, or to offer burnt offerings or grain offerings, or to offer fellowship sacrifices on it, may the LORD Himself call us to account.

15And He said to me, 'Have you seen this, son of man? You will see even greater abominations than these.'

17The LORD of Hosts, who planted you, has pronounced disaster against you because of the evil that the house of Israel and the house of Judah have done to provoke me by burning incense to Baal.
