9 I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
10 Because you said, 'These two nations and countries will be ours, and we will take possession of them,' even though the LORD was there,
11 therefore, as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will deal with you according to the anger and jealousy you showed in your hatred against them, and I will make myself known among them when I judge you.
12 Then you will know that I, the LORD, have heard all the contemptuous things you said against the mountains of Israel. You said, 'They have been laid waste and given over to us to devour.'
13 You boasted against me with your mouth and multiplied your words against me. I have heard it.
14 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.
15 As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel when it became desolate, so will I deal with you. You will become a desolation, Mount Seir, along with all of Edom—all of it. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
12 I will bring people, my people Israel, to live on you. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance, and you will no longer bereave them of children.
13 This is what the Lord GOD says: Because people say to you, ‘You devour humans and make your nations childless,’
1 And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say, 'Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD.'
11 Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: "An enemy will surround the land, bring down your strength, and plunder your fortresses."

3 O my mountain in the field, I will give away your wealth and all your treasures as plunder, along with your high places, because of the sin committed throughout your borders.

8 Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: Because you have spoken falsehood and seen lies, I am against you, declares the Lord GOD.
5 You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Lord GOD.
28 I will make the land a desolate waste, and its proud strength will come to an end. The mountains of Israel will become desolate, with no one passing through.
