18 By your many sins and your dishonest trade, you have profaned your sanctuaries. So I brought fire out from within you, and it consumed you. I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all those watching.
30 ‘How weak is your heart,’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘that you do all these things, the actions of a brazen prostitute!
31 When you built your mounds at the head of every road and made your high places in every street, you were not like a prostitute, because you scorned payment.
3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their hearts and placed the stumbling block of their iniquity before their faces. Should I really let myself be consulted by them?
4 Therefore, speak to them and say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Any man from the house of Israel who sets up his idols in his heart and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face and then comes to the prophet—I, the LORD, will answer him myself in keeping with the multitude of his idols.'
5 So that I may seize the house of Israel by their hearts, because they have all turned away from me through their idols.
6 Therefore, say to the house of Israel, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Repent and turn away from your idols and turn your faces away from all your detestable practices.'
6 For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because you clapped your hands, stomped your feet, and rejoiced with all the scorn in your heart against the land of Israel,
10 You felt secure in your wickedness and said, 'No one sees me.' Your wisdom and your knowledge have led you astray, and you said in your heart, 'I am, and there is no one besides me.'
21 But as for those whose hearts follow their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their conduct down upon their own heads, declares the Lord God.
7 therefore, behold, I will bring strangers upon you, the most ruthless of nations. They will draw their swords against your beauty and wisdom, and they will defile your splendor.

8 Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I Myself am against you, and I will execute judgments among you in the sight of the nations.
10 This is what the Lord GOD says: On that day, thoughts will arise in your heart, and you will devise an evil plan.
3 The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; you say in your heart, "Who will bring me down to the ground?"
8 Therefore, this is what the Lord GOD says: Because you have spoken falsehood and seen lies, I am against you, declares the Lord GOD.
11 The word of the LORD came to me, saying:
12 Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says: You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
2 This is what the Lord GOD says: Because the enemy has said of you, ‘Aha! Even the ancient high places have become ours as a possession,’
14 Your fame spread among the nations because of your beauty, for it was perfect through the splendor that I had bestowed on you, declares the Lord GOD.
17 You may say in your heart, 'My power and the strength of my hand have produced this wealth for me.'
12 In you, they accept bribes to shed blood; they take interest and increase unlawfully. You have gained profit in extorting your neighbors, and you have forgotten me, declares the Sovereign LORD.
13 See, I will strike my hands together in anger at the dishonest gain you have made and the bloodshed that has been done in your midst.
14 Will your heart stand firm? Will your hands be strong when I deal with you? I, the LORD, have spoken, and I will do it.
13 This is what the Lord GOD says: Because people say to you, ‘You devour humans and make your nations childless,’
13 You said in your heart, 'I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God. I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the north.'
18 Your own way and your deeds have caused this to you; this is your calamity. How bitter it is! It has reached your very heart.
10 Because you said, 'These two nations and countries will be ours, and we will take possession of them,' even though the LORD was there,
11 therefore, as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will deal with you according to the anger and jealousy you showed in your hatred against them, and I will make myself known among them when I judge you.
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
22 Because you disheartened the righteous with your lies when I had not caused them grief, and because you encouraged the wicked not to turn from their evil ways to save their lives,
9 I will trouble the hearts of many peoples when I bring about your ruin among the nations, in lands you do not know.
35 Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'Because you have forgotten me and thrust me behind your back, you must also bear the consequences of your lewdness and prostitution.'
43 Because you did not remember the days of your youth but enraged me with all these things, I will bring your conduct down upon your own head, declares the Lord GOD. Have you not committed lewdness in addition to all your other detestable acts?
8 Now hear this, you pleasure-loving one, sitting securely, who says in her heart, 'I am, and there is no one besides me; I will not sit as a widow, or know the loss of children.'
59 For this is what the Lord GOD says: I will deal with you as you have done, since you despised the oath by breaking the covenant.
3 and say to Tyre, situated at the gateways of the sea, a merchant of peoples to many coastlands: 'Thus says the Lord God: Tyre, you have declared, "I am perfect in beauty."'
24 You built yourselves a mound and made high places at every street corner.
27 I have made you a tester of metals among my people, that you may observe and test their ways.
31 They come to you as people come, and they sit before you as My people and hear your words, but they do not put them into practice. With their mouths they express love, but their hearts pursue unjust gain.
31 Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, house of Israel?
31 So I have poured out my indignation upon them, consumed them with the fire of my wrath, and brought their own ways down upon their heads, declares the Sovereign LORD.
9 Will you still say, “I am a god,” in the presence of those who kill you? Yet you are a man and not a god in the hands of those who wound you.
