7I brought you into a fertile land to eat its fruit and its bounty. But you came and defiled my land. You made my inheritance detestable.

The house of Israel will no longer defile my holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their prostitution or the corpses of their kings at their high places.'
6The LORD said to me, ‘Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: Listen to the words of this covenant and do them.’
