34 When Your people go out to war against their enemies, wherever You send them, and they pray to You toward this city which You have chosen and the house I have built for Your name,
35 then hear from heaven their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause.

35 When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against You, if they pray toward this place, confess Your name, and turn from their sin because You have afflicted them,
42 for they will hear of Your great name, Your mighty hand, and Your outstretched arm. When they come and pray toward this house,
27 For you, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have revealed this to your servant, saying, 'I will build you a house.' Therefore your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to you.
12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

7 'I will bring them to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar, for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.'
6 Listen, Lord, to my prayer, and attend to the sound of my pleas for mercy.
3 This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place.'
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their prayers. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
9 'If disaster comes upon us—whether the sword, judgment, plague, or famine—we will stand before this temple and in your presence (for your name is in this temple) and cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.'

27 Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before God when you heard His words against this place and its inhabitants, and because you tore your clothes and wept in My presence, I have heard you,' declares the LORD.
