The LORD said to him, 'I have heard your prayer and your plea that you made before Me. I have consecrated this temple you have built by putting My name there forever, and My eyes and My heart will always be there.'

12 Concerning this house that you are building, if you will walk in my statutes and carry out my ordinances, and keep all my commandments by walking in them, then I will establish my word with you, which I spoke to David your father.
25 And now, O LORD God, confirm forever the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and his house, and do as you have spoken.
26 May your name be magnified forever, saying, 'The LORD of hosts is God over Israel,' and may the house of your servant David be established before you.
27 For you, O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have revealed this to your servant, saying, 'I will build you a house.' Therefore your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to you.
5 Judah and Israel lived in safety, each man under his own vine and fig tree, from Dan to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

44 When Your people go out to fight against their enemies, wherever You send them, and when they pray to the LORD in the direction of the city You have chosen and the temple I have built for Your name,
19 And give my son Solomon an undivided heart to keep your commandments, your statutes, and your decrees, and to carry out all these plans, building the temple for which I have made preparations.
6 He said to me, ‘Solomon your son is the one who will build My house and My courts, for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father.
7 I will establish his kingdom forever if he is resolute in keeping My commandments and ordinances, as he is doing today.’
7 Now it was in the heart of my father David to build a house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
8 But the LORD said to my father David, 'Because it was in your heart to build a house for My name, you did well to have this desire in your heart.

17 Now it was in the heart of my father David to build a house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
18 But the LORD said to my father David, ‘Because it was in your heart to build a house for My name, you did well to have this desire in your heart.'
