Sprinkle the remaining blood around the altar. 21 Take some of the blood on the altar and some of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it on Aaron and his garments, and also on his sons and their garments. In this way, Aaron, his sons, and their garments will be consecrated. 22 Take the fat of the ram, the fat tail, the fat that covers the entrails, the lobe of the liver, the two kidneys with the fat on them, and the right thigh—for it is a ram of ordination. 23 Along with one loaf of bread, one cake made with oil, and one wafer from the basket of unleavened bread set before the Lord. 24 You shall place all of these in the hands of Aaron and his sons, and wave them as a wave offering before the Lord. 25 Then take them from their hands and burn them on the altar along with the burnt offering as a pleasing aroma before the Lord, an offering made by fire to the Lord. 26 Take the breast of the ram used for Aaron’s ordination and wave it as a wave offering before the Lord. This portion will be your share. 27 Consecrate the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution that were waved and lifted up from the ram of ordination, given for Aaron and his sons. 28 This will be a perpetual statute for Aaron and his sons from the Israelites, for it is a contribution. It will be a contribution from their peace offerings, their contribution to the Lord. 29 The sacred garments of Aaron shall belong to his descendants after him, so that they can be anointed and ordained in them. 30 The son who succeeds him as priest shall wear them for seven days when he enters the Tent of Meeting to minister in the Holy Place. 31 You shall take the ram of ordination and boil its meat in a holy place. 32 Aaron and his sons shall eat the meat of the ram and the bread that is in the basket at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. 33 They shall eat those things by which atonement was made to consecrate and sanctify them. But no outsider shall eat them, because they are holy. 34 If any of the meat of ordination or bread is left until morning, you must burn it, for it may not be eaten because it is holy. 35 Do for Aaron and his sons everything I have commanded you, taking seven days to ordain them. 36 Each day you shall offer a bull as a sin offering for atonement. Purify the altar when you make atonement for it, and anoint it to consecrate it. 37 For seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and consecrate it. Then the altar will become most holy, and whatever touches the altar will be holy.

He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar to consecrate it, making atonement for it. 16 Moses took all the fat that was on the entrails, the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, and burned them on the altar. 17 As for the rest of the bull—its hide, its flesh, and its dung—he burned it outside the camp, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 18 Moses presented the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head. 19 Moses slaughtered the ram and splashed the blood on all sides of the altar. 20 He cut the ram into pieces and burned the head, the pieces, and the fat. 21 He washed the entrails and the legs with water and burned the whole ram on the altar as a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 22 Moses presented the second ram, the ram of ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head. 23 Moses slaughtered the ram and took some of its blood, applying it to the lobe of Aaron’s right ear, the thumb of his right hand, and the big toe of his right foot. 24 Then Moses brought forward Aaron’s sons and applied some of the blood to the lobes of their right ears, the thumbs of their right hands, and the big toes of their right feet. He splashed the remaining blood on all sides of the altar. 25 Moses took the fat, the fat tail, all the fat around the entrails, the lobe of the liver, the two kidneys with their fat, and the right thigh. 26 From the basket of unleavened bread that was before the Lord, Moses took one unleavened cake, one cake of bread made with oil, and one wafer. He placed them on the fat portions and on the right thigh. 27 He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons and waved them as a presentation offering before the Lord. 28 Then Moses took them back from their hands and burned them on the altar along with the burnt offering. They were an ordination offering, a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the Lord. 29 Moses took the breast and waved it as a presentation offering before the Lord. It was Moses' portion of the ram of ordination, as the Lord had commanded him. 30 Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood from the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments, as well as on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated Aaron, his garments, his sons, and their garments.
