9Then Moses said to Aaron, "Tell the entire assembly of the Israelites, 'Come before the LORD, for He has heard your complaints.'"
10Moses heard the people weeping throughout their clans, each at the entry of his tent. The anger of the LORD burned greatly, and Moses was very displeased.
13Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:
27You grumbled in your tents and said, 'Because the LORD hates us, He brought us out of the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites to destroy us.'
5Then Moses and Aaron fell facedown before the entire assembly of the Israelite community.
2All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole community said to them, "If only we had died in Egypt or in this wilderness!
14This is because you rebelled against my command in the Wilderness of Zin, during the assembly’s strife, when you failed to uphold my holiness before their eyes at the waters. These are the waters of Meribah at Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin.
15Moses spoke to the LORD, saying:

2There was no water for the community, so they gathered together against Moses and Aaron.
3The people quarreled with Moses, saying, "If only we had died when our brothers died before the LORD!
23Then the Lord said to Moses,
26He sent Moses his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
51This is because you acted unfaithfully toward Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin, and because you did not honor Me as holy among the Israelites.
29They provoked the LORD to anger by their deeds, and a plague broke out among them.
22You continued to provoke the LORD to anger at Taberah, at Massah, and at Kibroth Hattaavah.
20But some of them did not listen to Moses and kept part of it until morning. It bred worms and began to stink, and Moses was angry with them.
10The LORD said to Moses,
9The anger of the LORD burned against them, and He departed.
21Then Moses said to Aaron, "What did these people do to you that you led them into such a great sin?"
