You grumbled in your tents and said, 'Because the LORD hates us, He brought us out of the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites to destroy us.'

34 When the LORD heard what you said, He became angry and swore an oath:
19 Then we set out from Horeb and went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which you saw, on the way to the hill country of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us. And we came to Kadesh-barnea.
20 Then I said to you, 'You have come to the hill country of the Amorites, which the LORD our God is giving us.'

8 And Moses added, "The LORD will give you meat to eat in the evening and all the bread you want in the morning, because He has heard your complaints against Him. But who are we? Your complaints are not against us but against the LORD."
9 Then Moses said to Aaron, "Tell the entire assembly of the Israelites, 'Come before the LORD, for He has heard your complaints.'"
3 The people quarreled with Moses, saying, "If only we had died when our brothers died before the LORD!
4 Why have you brought the LORD's assembly into this wilderness, for us and our livestock to die here?
5 Why did you bring us up from Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain, figs, vines, or pomegranates, and there is no water to drink!
26 Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
27 How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of the Israelites, who are murmuring against me.
22 You continued to provoke the LORD to anger at Taberah, at Massah, and at Kibroth Hattaavah.
23 And when the LORD sent you from Kadesh Barnea, saying, 'Go up and take possession of the land I have given you,' you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God. You did not trust him or obey his voice.
1 Now the people began to complain bitterly in the hearing of the LORD, and when the LORD heard this, His anger burned, and fire from the LORD consumed the outskirts of the camp.
29 In this wilderness, your dead bodies will fall—every one of you who was numbered in the census, twenty years old or more, who grumbled against me.
20 but for a whole month—until it comes out of your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you—because you have rejected the LORD, who is among you, and have wailed before Him, saying, ‘Why did we ever leave Egypt?’
13 Isn't it enough that you brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey to kill us in the wilderness? Must you also lord it over us?
14 What's more, you haven't brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor have you given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards. Do you intend to gouge out the eyes of these men? We will not come!"
28 Where can we go? Our brothers have discouraged us by saying, 'The people are larger and taller than we are, the cities are great and fortified up to the heavens, and we even saw the descendants of the Anakim there.'
37 The LORD was also angry with me because of you, and He said, 'You also will not enter there.'
8 Even at Horeb, you provoked the LORD to anger, and the LORD was angry enough with you to destroy you.
43 So I spoke to you, but you did not listen. You rebelled against the command of the LORD and presumptuously went up into the hill country.
44 Then the Amorites who lived in that hill country came out against you and chased you as bees do; they struck you down from Seir all the way to Hormah.
45 Then you returned and wept before the LORD, but He did not listen to your cries or pay attention to you.
24 So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, 'What are we to drink?'
5 And what He did for you in the wilderness until you reached this place.
10 Moses heard the people weeping throughout their clans, each at the entry of his tent. The anger of the LORD burned greatly, and Moses was very displeased.
6 They did not ask, ‘Where is the LORD, who brought us up out of Egypt and led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and ravines, a land of drought and deep darkness, a land where no one travels and no one lives?’
10 We have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two kings of the Amorites east of the Jordan, whom you completely destroyed.
36 The men whom Moses had sent to explore the land, and who returned and caused the whole assembly to complain by spreading a bad report about the land—
22 Then all of you approached me and said, 'Let us send men ahead of us to explore the land and bring back a report about the route we should take and the cities we will come to.'
17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
11 Therefore, it is against the Lord that you and all your followers have gathered. Who is Aaron that you should grumble against him?"
10 'It was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorites.'
13 But if you say, 'We will not stay in this land,' and do not listen to the voice of the LORD your God,
16 When we cried out to the LORD, he heard our voice, sent an angel, and brought us out of Egypt. Now we are here at Kadesh, a town on the edge of your territory.
