We struck them down until no survivors remained. 4 We captured all his cities at that time—there was not a city we did not take from them—sixty cities in all, the entire region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 5 All these cities were fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, besides many unwalled rural towns. 6 We completely destroyed them, just as we had done to Sihon, king of Heshbon. In every city, we destroyed the men, women, and children. 7 But we kept all the livestock and the spoils of the cities for ourselves. 8 At that time, we took the land from the two Amorite kings across the Jordan, from the Arnon Gorge to Mount Hermon.

Not one of them survived. 29 But the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground, with the waters forming a wall for them on their right and on their left. 30 On that day, the LORD saved Israel from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians lying dead on the shore. 31 When Israel saw the mighty hand of the LORD displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and put their trust in Him and in Moses, His servant.
