2All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole community said to them, "If only we had died in Egypt or in this wilderness!

20The Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
21"Separate yourselves from this assembly so I can put an end to them at once."
22The Israelites, the entire community, set out from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor.
23At Mount Hor, near the border of Edom, the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
24"Aaron will be gathered to his people. He will not enter the land I am giving to the Israelites, because both of you rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah.
11Therefore, it is against the Lord that you and all your followers have gathered. Who is Aaron that you should grumble against him?"
12Then Moses sent for Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, but they said, "We will not come!
6The LORD continued, "I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink." So Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel.
7And he named the place Massah and Meribah because the Israelites quarreled and because they tested the LORD, saying, "Is the LORD among us or not?"
14They journeyed from Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.
32By the waters of Meribah, they angered the LORD, and trouble came to Moses because of them;
1In the first month, the entire community of the Israelites came to the wilderness of Zin, and the people stayed at Kadesh. There Miriam died and was buried.
16From there they went to Beer. This is the well where the LORD said to Moses, 'Gather the people together, and I will give them water.'
5Then Moses and Aaron fell facedown before the entire assembly of the Israelite community.
26Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
27How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of the Israelites, who are murmuring against me.
9Then Moses said to Aaron, "Tell the entire assembly of the Israelites, 'Come before the LORD, for He has heard your complaints.'"
16They envied Moses in the camp, and Aaron, the holy one of the LORD.
51This is because you acted unfaithfully toward Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin, and because you did not honor Me as holy among the Israelites.
