19For the wyssdome off this worlde is foolishnes with God. For it is wrytten: He compaseth the wyse in their craftynesse.
20And agayne: The LORDE knoweth the thoughtes of the wyse, that they are vayne.

5Ether do ye thinke yt the scripture sayth in vayne. The sprete yt dwelleth in you, lusteth euen contrary to enuie:
13Let no man saye when he is tempted, yt he is tempted of God. For God tepteth not vnto euell, nether tepteth he eny man.
14But euery ma is tepted, drawne awaye, & entysed of his awne cocupiscece.
15The whe lust hath conceaued, she bringeth forth synne, & synne when it is fynished, bringeth forth deeth.
16Erre not my deare brethre.
5Yf eny of you lacke wyssdome, let him axe of God, which geueth to all men indifferentlie, and casteth no man in the teth: and it shal be geue him.

21that defyleth the man. For from within out of the hert of man proceade euell thoughtes, aduoutrye, whordome, murthur,
22theft, coueteousnes, wickednes, disceate, vnclennes, a wicked eye, blasphemy, pryde, foolishnes.
23All these euell thinges go from within, and defyle the man.

16But nowe ye reioyce in youre bostinges. All soche reioysynge is euell.
2Where pryde is, there is shame also and confucion: but where as is lowlynes, there is wysdome.
31He that commeth from an hye, is aboue all. He that is of the earth, is earthly, and speaketh of the earth. He that commeth fro heauen, is aboue all,
33Wy?dome resteth in the herte of him that hath vnderstondinge, and he wyll teach them that are vnlerned.
