8They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made a molten calf, have worshiped it, have sacrificed to it, and have said, 'These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.'"
28And there you shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.

12Because they ministered to them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore I have lifted up my hand against them, says the Lord GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity.
6And do not go after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and do not provoke me to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no harm.'
4Do not turn to idols, nor make for yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.

19Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they had made.
9And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold of other gods, and have worshiped them, and served them: therefore, the LORD has brought upon them all this evil.
33They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me; for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.
16And I will utter My judgments against them concerning all their wickedness, who have forsaken Me, and have burned incense to other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
