28Gather to me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to witness against them.
19And lest you lift up your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD your God has divided to all nations under the whole heaven.
16According to all that you desired of the LORD your God in Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die.
4You shall not do so unto the LORD your God.
11And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and on earth beneath.
29God forbid that we should rebel against the LORD, and turn this day from following the LORD, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for grain offerings, or for sacrifices, besides the altar of the LORD our God that is before His tabernacle.
6Who humbles Himself to behold the things that are in heaven and on the earth!
10You shall therefore obey the voice of the LORD your God, and do His commandments and His statutes, which I command you today.
20Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,
8It is as high as heaven; what can you do? Deeper than the grave; what can you know?
13But if you say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God,
23Am I a God nearby, says the LORD, and not a God afar off?
24Can anyone hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? says the LORD. Do I not fill heaven and earth? says the LORD.
24And if the way is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry it; or if the place is too far from you, which the LORD your God shall choose to set His name there, when the LORD your God has blessed you:
5Look to the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than you.
37Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not commanded it?
13For because you did not do it at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for we did not seek Him after the due order.
14Therefore the LORD has watched over the calamity, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all His works which He does: for we have not obeyed His voice.
21And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?
14The depth says, 'It is not in me'; and the sea says, 'It is not with me.'
22And the LORD said to Moses, 'Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: You have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
17Ah Lord GOD! behold, you have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm, and there is nothing too hard for you:
47For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing you shall prolong your days in the land which you go over Jordan to possess it.
30Take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you; and that you do not enquire after their gods, asking, How did these nations serve their gods? I will do likewise.
11When all Israel comes to appear before the LORD your God in the place which he shall choose, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
3But our God is in the heavens; He has done whatever He has pleased.
